These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of domestic worker placement services ("Services")

provided by Blueflame Technologies Limited ("Company," "we," or "us") to the customer ("Host," "you").

By engaging our Services, you agree to comply with these Terms.

 

Definitions

Maid of Honor (MOH): A domestic worker provided under a monthly subscription service.

Finder’s Fee: A one-time, non-refundable fee covering vetting and placement costs.

Monthly Subscription Fee: Recurring fee covering wages and service management.

Vetting Service: Background checks, training, and verification of MOHs.

 

Services Provided

The Company will:

Screen, train, and match MOHs to Hosts based on preferences.

Provide replacements (up to 2 within 30 days) if the Host is unsatisfied.

Invoice the Host monthly in advance (payment due by the 5th of each month).

Services include: Cleaning, cooking, and childcare (50 hours/week).

Probationary period (30 days) for MOH.

 

Host Responsibilities

Pay the one off Finder’s Fee (KES 7,500) upon identification and selection of MaidOfHonor

Pay the one off deployment fee (KES 1,500) at the start of the MOH deployment

Pay the Monthly Subscription Fee at the start of the service month no later than the 5th of the month

Provide decent accommodation (for live-in MOHs) and respect labor rights.

Report complaints/disputes to the Company promptly.

Not enter private contracts with the MOH.

 

Fees & Payments

Finder’s Fee: Non-refundable; payable upfront with the first month’s subscription.

Monthly Fee: Due by the 5th of each month (late payments may suspend services).

Payment Methods: Bank transfer, Mobile Money, or other modes approved by us

 

Termination

By Host/Company: Either party may terminate with 2 weeks’ written notice.

Immediate Termination Grounds:

Host: Non-payment, abuse, or mistreatment of MOH.

MOH: Theft, absenteeism, safety breaches, or misconduct (listed in Section 10.6 of main agreement).

 

Confidentiality & Compliance

Both parties agree to protect confidential information.

Hosts must comply with applicable Kenyan labor laws and the Constitution of Kenya 2010.

 

Liability & Disclaimers

The Company is not liable for:

MOH performance issues (unless vetting was falsified).

Host’s losses due to MOH negligence (if reported promptly).

 

Force Majeure: Delays due to unforeseen events (e.g., natural disasters) are excused.

 

Dispute Resolution  

Amicable negotiation within 30 days. Unresolved disputes go to arbitration (Nairobi, Kenya)

under the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce & Industry rules.

Courts of Kenya have exclusive and final jurisdiction.

 

General Clauses: Amendments: Terms may be updated; continued use implies acceptance.

 

Severability: Invalid clauses will be modified to reflect intent.

 

Notices: Communication via email/post to addresses on file.
